Start with the mix plate. Then ask Dewi about something she recommends. Something not on the menu may await you. Great low key feel. We are the only ones here during high time. Light a candle for the bugs and relax.

Mix starter plate is the way to go. Rasta mama is great cook and there is great atmosphere. Dont come if you hurry for yr food because its made with love.

Best food we had in medewi! 5 stars for sure. Owners are so friendly and the food is made with so much love you can taste it! A must do in medewi for sure... and one time is not enough. We will be back! Thanks again to Dewi and Rasta

Having lived in Indonesia for many years, I can say that both the Gado Gado and the Urap here are outstanding. We tried a selection of things on the first night and were so impressed with the sheer quality of the food that we then returned the following night to see if it could be equalled with their other dishes - it was even better. We asked for the recipe for a biscuit sandwich which was frankly mystical and the reply given was simply "it was made with love." Happy vegetarians here, bit of a quiet vibe but the hosts were attentive, hospitable and generous. Cannot recommend this place enough GO TO THIS PLACE! Oh, and get the biscuit sandwich I IMPLORE YOU

Great little place away from the crowds. Warm and friendly welcome. They understand gluten-free requirements and the food was delicious.

The loveliest family run place I've discovered on my Indo trip. All about quality not quantity, home-cooked meals and great company by Rasta and his wonderful family. Perfect for solo travellers as they will look after you like family!

Super relaxed cafe with a great view out on to the rice paddies. Dewi is the owner/chef and is very friendly and takes pride in preparing her food. If you order a banana pancake expect to also get lots of seasonal fruits on the plate too; it's these little touches that as a customer I appreciate. Prices are reasonable and the food is tasty. If you are in a hurry this place is not for you...food can take time to come out as it's only Dewi, but personally I don't mind as it's a great place to sit and enjoy the surrounding countryside.

The owners are super sweet locals. The food is crazy delicious, way better and way cheaper than at the Bombora lodge where we stayed. The location is beautiful in the middle of the rice paddies. About 20 min walk from the main surf break. As has been said by others, the food is made fresh, so expect a bit of a wait, but know it is worth it! Bali sate was amazing.

Best place to chill, eat delicious cuisine from an amazing chef Dewi, this place is definitely one of the high light of my trip, i will miss thé happy family vibes there!

We saw the great reviews and had to try for ourselves. Dewi gave us the warmest welcome on arrival that we felt so relaxed in her company. Everything was cooked fresh by Dewi so there was a little bit of a wait but it was worth it and also we could enjoy the surroundings and sunset over the rice paddies. The food is delicious. We enjoyed a few of the vegetarian options; vegetable fritters, pumpkin curry and mie goreng. Dewi also took our almost 1 year old daughter for a little walk to see the chickens while my husband and I ate dinner. Thank you for your hospitality and great food.

Dewi and Rasta are the best. Dewi's laugh and cooking will delight. Ask Dewi to take you food shopping in Negara and Rasta to take you to the buffalo races.
